If you can lighten the weight of each bicycle by just 5lbs each (perhaps by removing the battery pack?), the Saris SuperClamp EX, part # SA4025F could work for you even if your bikes have fenders. It looks like your 2014 Prius v would likely have a 1-1/4" hitch and the 2016 Acura MDX would likely have a 2" hitch, but we do have some options that would fit both of those! The newer Thule adapters will not work on your older Hitching Post, so you will need a universal adapter.
I recommend the Brophy Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # HT02. It's a sleeve that fits into your 2" receiver and allows you to use 1-1/4" accessories. I've linked to a video review of this reducer below.
